We will set up a complimentary 20-minute call to discuss the overall details and needs of your project. Gia will take the time to answer any questions you have regarding how we work and if we can truly help you.
If we determine that we are a good fit for your project, we’ll arrange a paid in-person consultation. During this meeting, we’ll delve deeper into the project scope and understand your needs and aspirations for the spaces. We’ll cover both aesthetics and functional requirements such as furniture layout, organization ideas, furniture pieces, custom millwork, art, lighting, window coverings and any challenges you are facing with the space.After the consultation, we will prepare a proposal that includes a flat fee for design services based on the scope. If you choose to move forward with us, you’ll receive a client agreement outlining the comprehensive scope of work along with an invoice to confirm your spot on our design calendar.
The exciting part begins! In this phase, we will work closely with you to gather and organize inspiration, engage in schematic space planning, and refine the initial design concepts for each area. We’ll take the time to understand your design style, lifestyle, and goals for your home.
Here, we transform our schematic ideas into functional design plans. This phase involves selecting all relevant materials. For construction projects, we’ll focus on elements like flooring, wall coverings, countertops, hardware, lighting, plumbing, and other finishes. For furnishing projects, we’ll choose upholstery, rugs, case goods, window treatments, lighting, wallpaper, accessories, and artwork. This phase concludes with a comprehensive design presentation, featuring CAD drawings, material samples, and 3D renderings if required by the client.
Let us handle the logistics. Once the furnishing design is approved, we will issue purchase orders to our vendors and closely monitor delivery details. We keep you updated on delays, completed shipments, and any other issues. During this stage, we also coordinate with our trusted trade partners to schedule necessary appointments, such as painting, wallpaper installation, window treatments, and lighting installation.For construction projects we participate in job site meetings to review design decisions, placement, and material installations. We collaborate with builders and contractors to resolve any issues that arise and ensure the design is implemented as planned.
We organize the installation of all your new furnishings with our movers and delivery team, setting up your new spaces! We arrange your furniture, lay rugs, install lighting, style shelving, hang artwork, and add the finishing touches to create a picture-perfect environment.
