Born and raised in Chandigarh, the city known to be the most prestigious project of world-renowned French architect Le Corbusier, Gia attributes her designs to the cultural richness and architectural history of her birthplace in India. Her signature style blends modern and eclectic elements with luxurious finishes and custom furnishings. Each vignette serves as a functional work of art.
Gia is recognised for her bold use of colors and patterns in layered spaces influenced by global cultures. Her multilingualism and extensive travel allow her to deeply engage with various cultures, enriching her innovative designs and providing her with a distinctive eclectic viewpoint. She focuses on harmonizing rational architecture with emotional design, ensuring that every space nurtures the lifestyle and well-being of its inhabitants.
With an innate ability to craft beautifully curated and highly functional spaces, Katie blends her expertise as a designer and fine artist to produce clever and cohesive design ideas that meet the client’s objectives. Katie’s designs revolve around a timeless aesthetic, grounded in natural materials and paired with gorgeous textures. Katie believes that spaces must be as functional as they are beautiful. She pays strong attention to efficient space planning and quality materials while also looking for ways to incorporate whimsy into each project.
A graduate with an Honors bachelor’s degree in interior design from one of Canada’s top design schools, Sheridan College, along with an Interior Decorating Diploma, Katie’s expertise extends beyond her creative flair, she is also an AutoCAD and SketchUp drawing extraordinaire. Katie is an ARIDO member with almost a decade of experience in Interior Design. You will find Katie on site visits as well as managing your designs and drawing packages behind the scenes.
